Cameron Diaz at Sydney premiere of Shrek The Third

It was a reception fit for a princess when Cameron Diaz walked the green carpet at the Sydney premiere of Shrek the Third.

The star, who provides the voice of the frumpy Princess Fiona, was no ugly ducking in a strapless dress and sky-high metallic heels.

Her love life is far from a fairy tale. She recently ended a four-year relationship with the singer Justin Timberlake, who is also the voice of a character, the Far Far Away heir Arthur, in the movie.
The actress said she was proud to be part of the Shrek series. "I love being part of a film that has integrity," she said.
"It was made to make a statement and give a message."
The chief executive of the Hollywood studio DreamWorks, Jeffrey Katzenberg, confirmed there would be a fourth Shrek. "We are already working on it."
